We provide our clients with compassionate non-medical, in-home care. If home care does not work for you, we have a housing referral service that can assist you finding the place that fits your preferences and lifestyle. In addition, we also provide household repairs and upkeep services, so your house can get the same care you are getting.
We have a rigorous hiring process with multiple interviews and screening processes, so we know that the people we hire are those that we would want to take care of our own family members.
All caregivers are put through a rigorous screening process that goes beyond the standard hiring process. We conduct national criminal background checks, immigration status, skill assessment, sex offense registry, license verification, and personal references. We also ensure that our caregivers show professionalism and are enthusiastic. At Lares, we are family, and our caregivers are the embodiment of that principle.
Yes, all caregivers are employees of Lares and are given a W-2, NOT 1099.
Yes, Lares is licensed, bonded, and insured (as required by the State of New Jersey).
As an industry leader, all caregivers are frequently given up-to-date service and safety training.
Lares Home Care has a trusting relationship with most Long Term Care Insurance providers and Veteran’s benefits. We are a private pay home care service and do not currently accept private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Typically, the patient or a family member or other caregiver pays for the services delivered. Lares Home can assist in reviewing financial options to reduce costs.
We do accept Long Term Care Insurance. We will work with your insurance provider to determine your policy specifics. If your long term care insurance does not cover in-home health care, we will assist you in finding the solution that works with your policy, at no cost to you.
Office Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm.
Caregiver Hours: Determined by client’s needs. 24-hour emergency contact number provided for all clients.

No worries- as your life changes, so does our service. We can easily accommodate your new requirements with as little as a couple of days’ notice. We understand that your needs change, and that is why we are flexible.
