WHAT SERVICE DOES LARES PROVIDE?

We provide our clients with compassionate non-medical, in-home care. If home care does not work for you, we have a housing referral service that can assist you finding the place that fits your preferences and lifestyle.  In addition, we also provide household repairs and upkeep services, so your house can get the same care you are getting.

WHAT SEPARATES YOU FROM OTHER AGENCIES?

We have a rigorous hiring process with multiple interviews and screening processes, so we know that the people we hire are those that we would want to take care of our own family members.

HOW ARE CAREGIVERS HIRED?

All caregivers are put through a rigorous screening process that goes beyond the standard hiring process. We conduct national criminal background checks, immigration status, social security verification, drug testing, skill assessment, sex offense registry, license verification, and personal references. We also ensure that our caregivers show professionalism and are enthusiastic. At Lares, we are family, and our caregivers are the embodiment of that principle.

ARE CAREGIVERS EMPLOYEES OF LARES?

Yes, all caregivers are employees of Lares and are given a W-2, NOT 1099.

ARE YOU LICENSED, BONDED AND INSURED?

Yes, Lares is licensed, bonded, and insured (as required by the State of New Jersey).

DO CAREGIVERS GET ONGOING TRAINING?

As an industry leader, all caregivers are frequently given up-to-date service and safety training.

DO YOU ACCEPT LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE?

We do accept Long Term Care Insurance. We will work with your insurance provider to determine your policy specifics. If your long term care insurance does not cover in-home health care, we will assist you in finding the solution that works with your policy, at no cost to you.

WHAT ARE YOU HOURS OF OPERATION?

Office Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Caregiver Hours: Determined by client’s needs. 24-hour emergency contact number provided for all clients.

The Agency will be closed on the following holidays
(only scheduled and on call service will be available):

  • President’s Birthday
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

WHAT IF MY NEEDS CHANGE?

No worries- as your life changes, so does our service. We can easily accommodate your new requirements with as little as a couple of days’ notice. We understand that your needs change, and that is why we are flexible.

WHERE IS CARE PROVIDED?

The care is provided wherever you need it.  Care can be provided in your home, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, residential care home, Alzheimer/dementia care communities or retirement communities.  We bring the care to you.
